The Prague Press Club (PPC) was founded in January 2003 in the premises of the former National Literary Tavern, the chief social hub for prominent journalists and literati during Czechoslovakia‘s interwar period. The PPC's members are English language journalists or publishers who reside in the Czech Republic and who represent or write into English language publications. The PPC serves as an informational portal to its members and publications. The PPC is also a professional and social forum in which members of different publications meet informally as a group to discuss various common issues. The PPC meets approximately four times per year. Any Prague-based English language journalist or publisher is free to join. Membership is entirely voluntary and can be discontinued at any time at the Member's request. There is no Membership fee. |
